Use this dry rub for your Kansas City Style Ribs and Kansas City Style BBQ Sauce. Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar and shake it up. Generously cover your pork ribs with the rub then wrap them in foil and refrigerate overnight. Store leftover dry rub in the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Paprika

  • 1 Tbs Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tbs Onion Powder

  • 1 Tbs Smoked Paprika

  • 1 Tbs Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Cayenne

  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Celery Seed

Directions

  • Measure out all ingredients onto a large piece of paper like parchemnt, newspaper, or butchers paper. Use paper as a pout to pour ingredients into a mason jar. Close lid and shake.
  • Store in freezer for up to 3 months.
