Kansas City Style Dry Rub is critical for Kansas City Style Ribs! This sweet and slightly spicy rub is a simple but effective recipe using ingredients you already have.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Paprika

  • 1 Tbs Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tbs Onion Powder

  • 1 Tbs Smoked Paprika

  • 1 Tbs Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Cayenne

  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Celery Seed

Directions

  • Measure out all ingredients onto a large piece of paper like parchemnt, newspaper, or butchers paper. Use paper as a pout to pour ingredients into a mason jar. Close lid and shake.
  • Store in freezer for up to 3 months.
